Topic: Multilevel dropdown on mobile devices

webshapers priority asked 8 months ago

Hello guys,

For a client project I need a 3rd menu-level.I am talking about this:https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/extended/dropdown-multilevel/#Try these examples on a mobile device!

*Expected behavior*The menu should uncollapse on multiple levels on click (not on hover).

*Actual behavior*The proposed solution works on desktop, but not on mobile devices, as it depends on hover. The problem is, that onclick the "show"-class of the parents gets removed.

Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.)https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/extended/dropdown-multilevel/#

Thank you, cheers, Thomas

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not have an example of multilevel dropdown supporting opening subsequent levels by clicking. This is mainly due to the fact, that it would be difficult to display subsequent dropdown levels on such a small screen. Therefore, this solution is not intended for mobile applications.
