Topic: Search a datatable using multiple words

AJEsler2019 priority asked 1 year ago

Expected behavior When searching an advanced datatable, I expect to be able to use either AND (&&) as well as OR (|) operators to search in different fields. Actual behavior Only the OR operator works correctly. Using the Advanced search example in the link and searching for "Tiger|Edinburgh" correctly returns 4 rows of data. Searching for "Tiger&&Edinburgh" incorrectly returns 0 rows of data rather than the expected 1 row of data. OK - thanks for your speedy reply. Do you have a rough lead time for the more advanced version of the datatable that you are working on? This is functionality that I can defer rather than build myself depending on your timeframe

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide even an approximate date at the moment.

Unfortunately, we do not support such a feature at Datatable. But we are working on a product that will be a more advanced version of datatable. There we will introduce much more advanced data search options.
