Topic: MDBDatePicker labels, keyboard input, focus on Tab, etc.
It is very strange that the current implementation of the MDBDatePickerComponent does not support input from the keyboard, floating labels and navigation using the tab key. This makes it useless to use that component in real world applications that require fast data entry.
I understand that the implementation of this component used third-party components, because
the source code is very raw and does not look like the source code of the other components.
To solve the above problems with keyboard input and labels, I made the necessary changes to use the component in my projects. Since this component is not free, I do not publish a fix here, but if developers contacts me, I will gladly send them my implementation.

I'm very interested in seeing better styling / formatting for the datepicker as well, it doesn't match well with the rest of the form inputs.Damian Gemza staff commented 6 years ago

Thank you! For now, I've reverted back to just using and letting the browser present the date picker.
