Expected behavior
The format should be respected when changing it
Actual behavior
it should format the date without error. it works when removing the format options

@Piotr Glejzer well the API is not up-to-date for this component, so most thing do not work

Well we will try to fix this in the next release. I noticed all bugs and we will try to resolve that. If you have more, let me know.
