I have a card element that belongs to a sortable drag-and-drop grid. The card has the sortable-item class. I would like to have a click event on the card element as well. However, when implementing the click event, the card is attached to the pointer as a drag-and-drop item and carries forward to the page displayed from the click event.

Could you please explain how to separate the events so the carryover does not occur?
