Expected behavior is that the item you are sorting will stay with the mouse cursor and where the item currently is in the sorting process when dragging. This does not happen still.

Instead, what you get is seen in my snippet. The item just shoots all the way to the top and your mouse cursor will still move items out of the way while sorting.

I submitted this bug over a year ago. Where is it in your list currently? Will you ever get to it? I have a feature that requires this, but currently can't do the sorting part of it because of this issue.
