Topic: I can't change the default date format in Calendar in Plugins.
LeeHoLim priority asked 1 year ago
In Calendar in Plugins, the default date format is "DD/MM/YYYY". I live in South Korea and the default date format in South Korea is "YYYY-MM-DD".
If I check the calendar.js file, the customization options do not change the default date format.
If I change the calendar.min.js file by myself, no error occurs, but the data is not displayed in the calendar.
What should I do?

Unfortunately, we do not currently support changing the date format. We will add this option as soon as possible.
I don't understand what you mean by use html for the text values in the summary. Can you give an example of what exactly you would like to do?

If the summary value of a calendar event contains an html tag, the tag is not applied and is displayed on the screen as is.

The data attribute you are writing about is the tooltip option. It allows you to pass HTML code to the tooltip in such a way that it is not displayed as plain text.
Unfortunately, we have not considered adding such an option for displaying the event summary. We will discuss this in the team and maybe we will add this in the future

I live in the states and typically we do MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD. I know DD/MM/YYYY is common for Europe so agree there needs to be a way to set a different default format.

Is there an estimated time for completing this?

We do not provide dates or content for future releases beforehand.

And I can't use html for the text values in the summary? When I view the html code, the option says data-mdb-html="true".
