Is there a way for us to "Single/Double" click on the options to select it as well as move it to the right side without the need of clicking the buttons to transfer it from one box to another box

No, there isn't. If you want something where options selection is easier maybe consider multiselect: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/select/#section-multiselect
