Topic: Remote autocomplete with space or dot

There is one major issue with remote completer:  https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/forms/autocomplete/#remoteData Since it is using GET to reach the server,  whenever a space or a dot are within the search term, the component collapse and the request reaches the server in a corrupt manner. Is there a solution for that ?

It is difficult to send an example as it requires a remote source Once you have one, enter text with spaces and/or dots and the request fails as it changes the end point
