Topic: Date and time pickers cause layout to jump, whereas modals don't

UNNdev priority asked 2 years ago

Expected behavior

Modals and pickers don't cause the layout to jump when a scrollbar is visible.

Actual behavior

While modals behave correctly, the date and time pickers cause slight jumps in the layout when opening / closing if the body has a scrollbar.

This can be seen on the example pages too. Watch how https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/components/modal/ behaves correctly, adds a body padding of 17px on Chrome under Windows and also takes care of the navbar, while https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/forms/datepicker/ only uses a padding of 15px and also doesn't handle the navbar at all causing its elements on the right to jump.
