Topic: Issue on gitLab to install MDB UI KIT and plugins

Verlino priority asked 1 month ago

Expected behavior Installing mdb-ui-kit and plugins from gitLab with access-token.

Actual behavior When i try to use the gived command to install via NPM with my access token (I'm sure I didn't made mistakes in token generation because last year, when i first tried to install my MDB-PRO-ADVANCED kit with gitLab, It was perfect) I get this error:

npm error code 128
npm error An unknown git error occurred
npm error command git --no-replace-objects clone https://oauth2:*** C:\Users\fedev\AppData\Local\npm-cache\_cacache\tmp\git-cloneKs1jX0 --recurse- submodules --config core.longpaths=true
npm error Cloning into 'C:\Users\fedev\AppData\Local\npm-cache\_cacache\tmp\git- cloneKs1jX0'...
npm error warning: redirecting to kit-pro-advanced.git/
npm error fatal: multiple updates for ref 'refs/remotes/origin/master' not allowed
npm error A complete log of this run can be found in: C:\Users\fedev\AppData\Local\npm-cache\_logs\2024-05-22T15_38_57_584Z-debug- 0.log

I have tried all things in my mind like updating git and npm, cleaning git cache, cloning git repo directly in my folder without using npm... Can you please help me? Thank you.

This looks like a git configuration error on your machine. Check out this thread on Stack Overflow:

Solved! It was an error in my .gitconfig file. Thank you!
